Birding/Avifauna in Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is well known for tiger reserves but the lesser known fact is that this park also houses a variety of bird species. Located in the heart of India in Vindhya Hills, the Bandhavgarh National park offers excellent opportunities for bird watching in the avi-fauna clad Vindhya ranges. The location comprises of an intriguing mix of dense tropical forests, wetland and scrub, which is an avid location for birds to survive. Every bird lover will enjoy bird watching in this area.


The forest reserves is complete with natural vegetation in the marshes and streams. The vegetation in this area thus becomes the preferred location to almost 150 varieties of birds in the heart of Bandhavgarh Reserves. These amazing flying creatures also offer the opportunity to learn about their distinct features.
