Perfect Time for Bandhavgarh National Park Wildlife Safari

Located in the state of Madhya Pradesh is Bandhavgarh National Park and the park has beenranked amongst the best national parks of the country. The park is spread over and area of 448 sq. km. in the Vindhya ranges of central India. There are various wildlife safari tours at Bandhavgarh National park that gives the opportunity to view the tigers in this national park.

The national park can be visited anytime between the months from October to June while the park is closed for visitors in the monsoon season in the months from July to September. The months of October and November gives the best view of the national park since all the plants have been recently washed with the monsoon rains thus soothing the eyes of the visitors with the greenery. During the winter season in the months from January to April, the temperature during the day time is generally hot reaching to almost 40 degrees while the nights are colder. The summers are extremely hot in the months from mid-April to June and during these times the wildlife safari tours at Bandhavgarh National park remains low.

The best time to spot the various migratory birds in the national park is in the months from October to January. The temperature during this period generally is below 30 degree Celsius. In these months, tigers can also be spotted in the zones like Magdhi and Khitauli zones other that the Tala zone where the chances of spotting a tiger is maximum. The months of November and December are the festival and vacation times when the national park observes maximum number of tourists. 

The flora and fauna of the Bandhavgarh National Park is very rich in the months from February to March. The forest of the park displays its maximum beauty during these two months. Few of the rich fauna of the national park includes Sambars, Sloth Bear, Langaur, Blue Bull, Spotted Dear etc. During these two months, the people who are interested in the wildlife photography can gain the maximum. In the summers the tigers and many other animals can be spotted near the water areas that are generally the part of Tala zone. One can also spot the tiger preying at this time near the Tala zone when other animals take rest near the water bodies. The best spot to watch the different varieties of birds is in the Khitaui zone.
