The pleasant weather of Malshej Ghats requires good walking shoes and protective clothing to have shelter from downpour especially during monsoon and rainy season. Places to Eat
The State run MTDC Holiday Flamingo Resort is one of
the very few resorts that offer eating outlet within the premises. The in-house
catering services provide vegetarian food and non-vegetarian food in different
areas and are considered as one of the best food outlets in Malshej Ghat.
Accommodations
MTDC Flamingo resort is the only comfortable one in
Malshej Ghats, though there are quite a few hotels cropping up in and around
the Ghats section. Tourists can also opt for a one-day picnic at this resort
that allows outside snacks and foods. Public amenities like water and toilets
are also available. Accommodation at MTDC resort has gone online and due to
heavy rush, atleast one-month pre booking should be done for a comfortable stay
during monsoon season. Apart from this resort, nearest accommodation options
are available at Madh, a village away by 6 kms from the Ghats section.
